Going Crazy

Pairing: Luhan/Tiffany
Genre: Romance, Angst
Length: One Shot

“Tiffany!”
He immediately turned his head to the source of the voice. A young teenage girl―about 16 years old―called her friend.
Not her. He thought.

He knew he’ll never see her again. He knew that. But his head automatically turn in the speed of light whenever he heard the name ‘Tiffany’.
He missed her and he still do. Her beautiful face, her scent, her laugh, her smile, and her eyesmile.
Those damn eyesmiles. They never fail to make him weak on his knees.

He took out his phone and dialed a number. A number he memorize so well. A number that called him n times a day before and vice versa. He pressed the call button and put his phone on his ears.
“Annyeong! Fany Fany Tiffany is busy right now so she can’t answer your call. Please leave her a message. Thanks~”
Her cheerful voice from her answering machine made him miss her more. He can’t hold back his tears anymore. So he ran. He ran far away. He don’t know where his feet are leading him to, but he know he needs to find a quiet place. He needs to clear his mind.
He’s losing his common sense.
He’s going crazy.
This deer is going crazy.
Crazy over her.
Crazy over the girl he loved.
Crazy over the girl that left him.
No, she didn’t leave him for another man.
No, they didn’t have a fight and break up.

Yes, they were separated by death.

Luhan stopped running. His breathing is unstable and consists of short pants. He looked around, trying to find out where he is.

He was at a field filled with flowers.

He remembered this place. How could he forget? It was their hiding place.
Nobody was there.
Until now he still wondered why people haven’t found this place. It has a good view of the sunset. They used to see the sunset together.
Suddenly, her smiling face appeared in his head. Then their memories. Then her accident.
He can’t take it anymore.
He cried. Right then and there.

“I miss you, Fany-ah…” he mumbled.
“I miss you so much…”
“Why do you have to go?” he asked, although he knew he wouldn’t get an answer.
“It should’ve been me…” he said.
“I coudn’t protect you
“I should’ve seen that car

That’s when he saw her.

“I must be seeing things.” he said then let out a dry chuckle.

He saw her again. This time clearer.
She was facing him.
He couldn’t believe his eyes.
He rubbed them but she was still there when he opened his eyes.

Is this a dream? He thought.

“Luhan.” she said, her voice warm and soft. She wanted to cup his face, but ended up passing through him.
Luhan was staring at her.
He missed this woman so much.
He wanted to hug her, so hug he did, but ended up passing through her.
He looked at her with a confused face.
“I’m just a ghost, Hannie.” she said.
Hannie.
His special nickname.
The nickname she gave him.
He wouldn’t let others call him ‘Hannie’.
Only she could call him that.
“I miss you so much, do you know that?” he asked, his voice shaky.
“I know, Hannie. I know. Because I’m always watching you from above.”
Then she smiled, her eyes forming crescents. Oh how he missed her smile.
“Hannie…” she said.
“My death wasn’t your fault.” she continued.
“It was mine. I was the one who didn’t look at the car heading towards me. So don’t blame yourself.”

Silence.

“I love you, Luhan.” She said.

He stood up and kissed her.
His nerves can’t sense her lips, but his heart can.
Everything he felt was poured into that kiss.
Their last kiss.
He finally pulled away and said,

“I love you and will always love you ‘till the end of the world, Hwang Miyoung.”
